Time Flys ~ Images by Jason and Tonja ~ Ashland, Omaha, Lincoln, Holdrege, Nebraska Photographers

One moment…

You have but one chance in a lifetime to experience something for the first time.  The first steps, the first words, the first haircut…  Life is precious.   Why not take a bit of time to remember your children at their different stages and the things they do at different ages.  Before you know it, they will be headed off to preschool, to kindergarten, the next thing you know you’ve got a tween..  where to the little moments of first experiences go?

Time sure does fly.  I remember as a child learning to ride a bike.  I didn’t have one that was my size to ride, but I did have my fathers 10 speed.  It was pretty challenging I must admit, I didn’t fit it at all and pretty much had to start and stop with flying mounts and dismounts..  I am sure I was quite the site.  Thankfully no one captured those moments as I am sure they would make for great YouTube or blackmail materials..  However I do have other moments that my parents chose to capture, and I often look at those images and can remember the days around which those images were created.  They make me happy, I know I was loved, and I have a photo treasures that have made my childhood easier to recall.

We don’t have our own kids, but we sure do enjoy watching other peoples kids experience things for the first time.  Watching life through their eyes is a way to keep everything in life fresh and new.  Full of wonder, the realities of the world not ever having been thought of.  The security of knowing mom and dad are right there with you and that you can’t fail.  They grow so fast, they change right before your eyes, and if you aren’t paying attention, you are likely to miss the great joy they share through their experiences.

Our little fishing girl… is one of those children who looks at life through big blue eyes and experiences everything with curiosity, and wonder.  She is full of life, and sure that she wants her parents right by her side.  She loves to help and have fun.

Take this time now to get your children’s portrait appointment scheduled with us.  Let us capture these moments in time for you so that you will have them to treasure long after they’ve grown up.  When they have their children they will be able to point to these pictures and say see, this is who I was at your age.   Moments like these will stand the test of time and become treasures of their future.

Thanks to the lovely Megan for being such a beautiful subject to photograph.  We love capturing moments in your life!

We are blessed,

Jason and Tonja

This is SO true. I have a little girl and she is growing so fast! I wish I had taken more pictures of her when she was younger! You can never get that time back!

This is so true! My first two babies are all grown up now and I only have the 13-year old left. Where was custom photography when my kids were little?
